Wingman Certificate

Wyvern Wingman

Hop-A-Jet Worldwide Jet Charter is currently one of 65 private jet charter operators in the United States who have been accepted into the Wyvern Wingman Alliance—a prestigious group of elite jet charter companies.

As a partner in the Wyvern Wingman Alliance, you are assured Hop-A-Jet has met Wyvern’s enhanced air charter safety standards, which are significantly more stringent than the FAA requires. For example, aircrews must have nearly 4 times the experience mandated by the FAA—and all flight crews must undergo rigorous annual simulator training that’s not even required by the FAA.

Double-checked™ aircraft, too, live up to higher standards. While the FAA requires no formal manufacturer’s training for maintenance technicians, Wyvern does. What’s more, they require every maintenance department or service provider to institute a formalized safety program—complete with a safety committee—all of which is audited on an annual basis. Today, you’ll find less than 700 aircraft globally that meet the enhanced Wyvern standards.

Wyvern continues to endorse Hop-A-Jet Worldwide Jet Charter as a safe choice for private jet travel. Our most recent audit remains in force through midnight December 31, 2021.

ARG/US Platinum Rating

ARG/US (Aviation Research Group / United States) conducts independent on-site safety audits on Part 135 Charter Operators.

Hop-A-Jet Worldwide Jet Charter holds the coveted ARG/US Platinum rating—the highest safety rating possible. This confirms we have an excellent safety history, well qualified pilots and equipment and sound operational and maintenance practices.

According to industry statistics compiled by ARG/US, there are approximately 1,000 companies that operate jet and/or turboprop aircraft for passenger charter in the United States. Only 52, or about 5%, have achieved a Platinum rating. Our most recent audit remains in force through midnight July 14, 2022.

IS-BAO Certified

Hop-A-Jet Worldwide Jet Charter is IS-BAO certified. This means our operational and safety practices conform to this very tough set of European safety standards.

The International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO), developed by the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) and its member associations, is a code of best practices designed to help flight departments worldwide achieve high levels of safety and professionalism. Since it’s launch August 25, 2009, IS-BAO has become recognized as the industry standard for business aircraft operations by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN).
